Troublechanging between high and low range

Everytime i change from high to low or vice-versa, it never fully engages and i'll drive a few yards then it will pop out of gear. Then it will always engage the gear properly when i try again. Are there any adjustments that can be made to the lever or linkage to correct this? Cheers Matt
