    Tyre recommendation for Discovery 2 ?

    I have a late 2003 Disco 2 TD5 Metropolis which is desperately in need of new tyres. I don't do any rigorous offloading now but use it to tow and launch a 1 tonne boat from various slipways, some of which can be very steep and slippery with mud.     Maxxis Buckshot Mudders

    Has anyone got these tyres? I'm thinking of getting some in 235/85/16, what are they like on road and how do they wear? and what are they like in muddy pay and play sites? Are any tyres better at a similar price, i can get these at £68.50 each. Cheers Matt
