    Auto Gearbox Oil Cooler Woes - Do I use a blowtorch, hacksaw, dremel, or something more thermonuclear?

    Auto gearbox oil cooler headache. The oil cooler gave up the will to live and disintegrated. Nice one Doris. The connectors to the cooler are not moving. I 'think' the connectors at the other end are push-fit? Whatever...also not moving (was thinking I could take the lot out and deal with...

    300tdi stuck in park

    did it last night then worked, solenoid seems to be clicking when button pressed. wont move from park now, i have the centre console out and am totally lost :( brake switched replaced last month any suggestions

    Yet more tailgate window woes

    1998 2.0 Di. Had the cam belt changed yesterday so the battery was disconnected. Driving home this evening, I noticed the tailgate wiper wasn't working. Checked the rear fog and heated rear screen - also not working. Stopped at a petrol station, opened the tailgate and the glass didn't drop...

    Rear door window problems

    Hi Guys, My dad has a problem with the rear window of his Freelander. The window has dropped as it does to open the door and now won't go back up again. It now doesn't go up and down when you open / close the door or with the button on the dash. Also as it's stuck down the rear wiper won't work...
