110 V8 Bubbles!!!!

RKK

Accelerating Away
I have a '90 110 3.5 v8 carb(from '83 Range Rover), that is now overheat and bubbling from the header tank:(
I have had the heads off and replaced them with a good pair (the previous had leakage between water way and bore) I have now re-assembled and they problem is still there:(
Is this now likely to be a cracked block/porous block. Is there any test that i can do before starting another strip down?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

I have started the vehicle with the rad cap off, and when it ran up to temp, the bubbles appeared through the expansion tank and the needle shoots straight into the red. And, yes the engine is bl**dy hot:eek:

Have the radiator recored or at least cleaned by haveing the tanks taken off it and the core tubes brushed out. After all, that's the bit that cools the liquid in the end.
