Hi all
Well ive been a member here for a few weeks now so i through i will say...HELLO
My name is Darryl and i have a 2001 series 2 discovery (td5) which i got for the wife..honest i did,and soon to add to my drive a 2.5 petrol defender 90 on a D plate and i live near Birmingham.
Well ive been reading the threads with intrest and to what ive looked at i have learned a lot and i have also given out some advice to which i have had off my local dealer, which may/may not have been helpfull.
I work for a family company in Redditch (westmidlands) and have been there for the last 5 years and before that i used to (still do part time) drive coaches all over europe.
I hope to be out "playing " with the defender (which will make jackie happy as she have the td5 back) asap and hopefully be out with some of you guys.
My brother has a series 2 discovery (face lift) and i have been out a few times in his greenlaneing etc and when i was talking about the defender he said he help me do it up.
Anyway hope to meet some of you soon and thanks for all your help so far.
