Anyone for turkey?

I live right next door to a huge poultry farm, not turkeys, they have something silly like 600,000 birds or more on the unit. I was talking to them yesterday and they said that the price of chicken has actually gone up and the processors cannot get enough birds to process to keep up with demand.

I just love these food scares 'cos it brings the price of the stuff down and then I buy it. Plenty turkey curries at the mo:)

When we had the BSE scare I was delighted to be able to buy my favourite meat at a good price and it never did me any harm - did it?:D

cheers, Tim

yep i'm off to the supermarket to stock up.the turkey in this case was 6weeks away from the food chain!!!so no where near any supermarket shevles

I never buy BM products because of the production method i.e. intensive rearing, birds stuffed full of chemicals in over-crowded houses; they have a poor quality of life.

Breed your own or buy proper free range!
