hi all,anyone in a specific club,any good / bad ones? just thinking about joining one now i've got the freelander on the way maybe so i can find out more details about it etc with it being a ltd edition one,thanks rick

Depends what you want to do.

They do lots of shows and have a very good social scene, plus do some good offroading, mostly in standard vehicles. Good magazine.

Slightly madder, and as their names suggests "Muddy and Dirty". Good forum and organise good off road days which can be a bit more "extreme". I think membership may be by invite only.

Lots of people are with both.
 
thanks guys i'll think on,don't know as i'm an extreme off roader so maybe try the "normal" lot 1st...."ducks" :rolleyes: any ideas where either are based? i'm in the midlands myself...this may make my choice easier:)

Hi there

but I am the Chairman of the Freelanderclub. We have no central base but we do have Loacl reps acovering most parts of the country. Their is a joining form on the Freelanderclub web site if you ar einterested. We now also have a forum attached to the site and a freelanderclub yahoo group. I met up today with the Chairman of the MAD Freelanders and we may well be doing some events together, especially as this is the anniversary of the Freelander.
