I must say, the touch screen interface look absolutely brilliant.
Instead of having a load of fussy little buttons trying to do 8 things at once, just present a context-based custom keypad in each of the modes.
It will catch on - watch out Nokia.

Was just looking at it earlier ... nice!, how much will it be do you think?
Too big, that looks a half as wide agian as my Sony Ericisson K800i and nearly as wide as my PDA. It might have a whizzy interface, but it's hardly pocket sized.

You CAN live without it...buy your wee wives a new kitchen instead
Oh no no no.
New gadget must have now, anyway wee wifey wouldn't know what to do with a kitchen knife, actually I don't think she knows where the kitchen is and if she does I know she doesn't know how to use it
you dont need it...bet it does nothing more than a mobile..but with bells on.
but it does have 4 or 8 GB storage which is probably 3 - 7 times more than your PDA so it makes it a proper mobile business tool as long as MS do a mobile version of Mac Office and Adobe do a Mac mobile PDF reader.
As a navigation device you will be able to upload alot of map data as long as there is an application to use it.
You can always phone/text/email/order online/photograph a take away
