AUX and USB seem not to be working.

Hi,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I have just bought a 20011 Disco4 and it has both a AUVX (in the back) and USB (in the arm rest) that are supposed to connect to the sound system. There is definitely power to the USB as I can charge my phone off it ok, however when every I select the AUX or USB to play through the system is says there is nothing connected. There are also no error codes according to my LR mechanic

Is there a fuse or such like I should be looking for or is there something else I can do to try and figure this out before have to spend money getting some else to find the issue?

Are you connecting through a USB lead or using a memory stick? Silly question but is it a data lead or just a charging lead?
 
USB lead, it is an iPhone lead, normal transfer data between my devices, with the aux it is usually plugged straight into an ipod
