been off roading today

In Fourth Gear
the first time ive really been off road in my 90 since ive had

i loved every minute

went up to an old quarry near me...great for a bit of 4x4 fun and for bikes if you like that sort of thing

was surprised at some of the inclines it was able to go up in road gears:D

Rhys, well done and welcome to the great offroading culture.


Hope that quarry was legal and you had permission of the owner, as the South Wales Police are very hot on illegal use of land, and are VERY quick in removing vehicles of those they catch.
 
I know exactly how you feel, I'm still chuffed to bits at the way my essentially road car can wade lakes and climb banks. Whatever Land Rover did to their products; it did it really well.

well where i went the police also use and so do a lot of motorbikes and other 4x4's

i was looking for a lost dog up there last year and there was a police land rover trying to get up an incline but couldnt quite manage it
