Car dealers in the UK. Please Help

Hi ppl,

Can you help me out in finding a number of honest and reliable car dealers across the UK from where i can buy a land rover from? I am searching for a 97 onwards tdi300 discovery , commercial van.

If you know about any websites i can search please tell me about them as it will make my search better.

So far I am not sure if i'll be driving it over to malta or have it shipped. I am collecting all sorts of information at the moment.

In the South of England we have The Diesel Centre, Reid Land Rovers and Foley Specialist Vehicles . Not heard or found any bad press about them.

Thanks for the links. I have already been in contact with the third, and they seem to me that they are very ok, i mean they sent me all the info i requested such as service history and so on. Will check out the other two links.

All his servicing and repairs are carried out by one of my customers who is well rated in the area.

Are you after a commercial one for tax reasons? if so, maybe you could get one from here converted. This company imports rust free and low mileage (their words not mine) examples from Japan - http://www.car-equality.net/index.php?cPath=1

Its about as far from the coast as you can get in the UK.
I bought my 99 V8 Discovery from them and they were solid gold, did everything I asked..and more.
The best bit was they were honest. Warranty work, what little there was, was done when they said it would be done, it was done properly and on time.
I was out just of warranty when I had a problem with it in Holland. I phoned them for advice and they helped all they could and helped further when we returned to the UK...They even did a very cut price waxoil treatment for my trouble.
Obviously I can't guarantee they will treat you as well, but I would recommend them.
