Cardboard footwell replacement

Hello all.

I was wondering if any of you replaced the footwells made out of something like cardboard for metal ones or some other stuff?

Mine look really crappy, and i would like to exchange them for sometinhg else.

Does anyone here done this?

you can buy new metal footwells and weld them in.

I think this is what you mean. Sorry, but I don't know a European supplier. But it shouldn't be too difficult to get one made up using the cardboard as a pattern though - and they don't need welding in.
