Check you're not loosing water from the heater matrix (Will smell of Anti-freeze presuming there's some in the motor to start with :D ) then look at the grommits on the bulkhead - I found 2 of those missing on mine. Check there's no 'tiding' around the door seal, and that the drain pipe from the sunroof (If fitted) is clearing OK, but I think that runs down the Passenger side A pillar. Also check that all of the plastic studs that the aluminium kicker are in place and not cracked -a dollop of sealant from the underside will fix them.

Apart from that - The advice I was given when I got my '92- you can't keep fluids in them, or out of them!

I'm in the process of doing this to my recently purchased '93 RCC classic.

I can highly recommend this site for product recomendations and cleaning tips;

As for the headling, I will be attacking mine with a hot microfibre cloth with some Chemical Guys Stain Extractor;

It's amazing the difference between a dirty and clean RRC;

Once I've got the polish and wax out, I reckon I'll have her looking like new.

hi did you get your micro cloth from the guys on the link you gave if so which one was it

I just get mine from CostCo, but you should be able to get some in any Supermarket or DIY store.

If not, you'll just just need the cheapest ones for the interior, the expensive ones on the site are for drying the paintwork, ie they don't scratch. Though you can test this yourself with any MF by testing it on an old CD.

P.S. I hope introducing you to the DetailingWorld site hasn't overwhelmed you too much :D
