Connecting CB in Disco, best way?

Arrolman

Hi all,

I've had a look at other threads but none give me an idea of the best way to connect my CB up to my Disco, Theres the standard black/red cable but theres no where near enough to run to the battery, so how did u connect urs? Don't really want to be starting to join up bits of wire to get it to reach

Cheers,
Iain

Cigarette lighter socket? plugged into 4 into 1 lighter socket adaptor. or wire in 2nd lighter socket. I Have a pullout slide mount which I'm gonna fit mine to so i don't have to leave it in the vehicle overight.

I removed the glove box and made a new surround and installed the CB in there, connected the live to the back of the clock live which is right next to it, but only on with first click of key, then the black to earth on the metal part of the dash support.

I put my CB on the drivers side of the console. I ran a cable from my electric butty box into the back of area where the fuses are, now run all my accessories from this.
