How Do I? Dash full of brake warning lights!!!

In Second Gear
My 2000 Discovery serie II has developed a very active warning panel, but very sporatically. The ABS, ACE, and Decent Control lights come on while I am driving, sometimes when I start the vehicle, and sometimes not at all. All three lights come on at the same time, sometimes with an audible chime. Do I have a serious problem, what should I do? Thanks, Israeldon

I think this is quite common and often means you have a faulty or dirty ABS wheel sensor. This will affect the operation of the ABS / HDC / TC when you need them.

Not sure if you need to get it on a diagnostic computer to check it all out - Jon V8 will know.

Sorry, just re-read your post and saw you mention ACE - I think there is also a road speed sensor and/or tilt sensor somewhere under the handbrake, which again could be faulty
