It was not on the public highway, they were too well gritted, you would have needed roller blades not skis to do it on the road.

Roughly 10 years ago, I was on rollerblades and holding my friends car at the rear bumper. It was really fun for the first 10 seconds, then my friend decided to offer more speed, it was ok, just the knees take a lot of pressure on the rough hard surface of the road, but at turns, my feet's crossover just cannot catch up with the turning circle of the road and I had to let go the car and missed 1/2 the turn heading straight into someone's front yard. As between the road and the grass is a small ramp, which sent me flying in the air for roughly 10 meters and land on the grass and roll. The landing was bad, wheels on the rollerblades doesn't roll on grass, so I have to do the rolling, get the picture.
My friend was doing 25mph, that sent me flying. Later spend a few hours repairing the front yard.
