Does anyone remember....

santana stu

Overdrive!
.... the Goodies? Was driving to work today and as my mind wondered I thought about that show. For the life of me I can't remember the third Goody. Bill Odie(sp?), Tim Brook Tayler and ?????. Don't know why but all I can remeber was the kitten on the BBC tower and their parody of Watership Down.

We saw The Goodies live show at last years Edinburgh Festival. Not the funniest show but couldn't pass up the chance to see two of my comedy heroes live on stage. (Bill Oddies scenes were pre-recorded).

Cheers.

Have never seen them repeated on sky which is odd, but did watch that program they made a while ago, have to say they are one of my all time favourite's, "any one for ecky thump":D

I remember them - especially when they made the bionic baby in an allotment shed and the chase around Hampton Court maze with the giant Magic Roundabout characters. I don't remeber much, but I remember loving it at the time.

Graham Garden is brilliant. He's been on quite a few comedy game shows in the last few years, including as a team captain on "If I Ruled The World". He's very sharp and very dry. By far the best of the three.

Also on 'I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue' - the funniest programme on radio 4 and possibly all media anywhere.

Roger.

The modern programs can't compete with the old ones, the Goodies had real wit, and quick with it.

What about theree films, Life of Brian? Pure genius.

Now then let's see who is really old :D
ITMA

Workers Playtime.

Dick Barton Special Agent.

Educating Archie.

Much binding in the Marsh.

Remember these two......Ron and Eth ???

Did you ever see the bit that they shot of the Death of FingerBob?

He was dunked in a glass & drowned (please tell me I haven't dreamed that!)

You're all lucky, I have to endure 'LazyTown', with the man with the weirdest moustache since Salvador Dali

But I get my own back, I make her sit & watch 'The BatMan' at 18:00on Cartoon Network, which is a new series & great!!!
