With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which went almost unnoticed last week.
Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Cokey" died peacefully aged 83. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in - and things just started to go downhill from there.
I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had a close miss today. I walked into B&Q and some old guy dressed in orange asked me if I wanted decking. Fortunately, I got the first punch in and that was the end of that. Those less alert might not be so lucky.
