Electrickery problem.........

Hi all, having just replaced my series 3 (Yoda) with a new fangled disco 200tdi, im rather dissapointed to be posting here so soon, but i suppose it wouldnt be a landrover otherwise!!!.

Anyway, the fault is that when i use the washers all my lights, stereo, heater etc etc go off for a second then come back on........scary as hell driving home in the dark when that happened tonight!!!!.........had a quick look round and as far as i can see all earths etc seem to be ok, my minds eye is kinda wandering toward the ignition switch side of things being overloaded momentarily.......can anyone give me any further pointers?
