Engine cuts out

In Second Gear
Please could someone help, I have a 1995 Discovery ES V8 Auto with an intermitent problem. The car starts fine and will run for an undetermined amount of time. Then the engine cuts out and will not start for an hour or so. Please could someone shed some light on this problem for me? I have fitted a new fuel pump and this has not rectified the problem.:(
 
chek to see if their is a electric fule cut off valve if so chek it to see if it clics when the engin cuts out on you by getting someon to turn the ignition on and off
if it dosent click chek wiring and ignition switch as it can become falty
 
Thanks for the Email,yes it does sound like a similar issue.The spider link lead AMR 4956 I think is the number,is available from any LR dealer and from memory the retail price is £4.56 + Vat.
