Hi,
Im hoping to pick up my new toy, a '92 110tdi tomorrow and drive it back home (about 2 hours)..
Apart from usual bits and pieces (toolbox - set of spanners, ratchet set, duct tape, pieces of string etc), are there any essential bits of kit (tools or spares etc) that I should NOT leave home without (leaving aside a good breakdown cover membership!). Is there some kind of checklist of Landie essentials to be carried on board?
Which makes me curious;
Whats been the single most useful piece of 'get you home' kit that anyone has used? (not talking about sand-ladders & winches etc here. Im asking more about general breakdowns, not getting stuck in places through over-optimistic driving! )
Thanks
Mike
