Feeling Lonely

I think i've made a huge mistake buying a discovery. Those disco boys are a bit backwards at coming forwards. They take ages answering your posts and where as a post on here will usually get picked up by several people and replied to very quickly over on the discovery forum hardly any one seems interested.

So I've decided to come back and annoy everyone on this forum and only go over there when I'm desperate and can't get the answer on here.

Maybe I'm been a bit hasty and I just need to get to know them a little better. I certainly hope so.

Could be Discovery owners have more going on in their lives than Landie owners. They are possibly not so enthusiastic about Solihulls finest.

What you mean there are people out there who don't think that landrovers are the centre of their universe

my nephew did it the other wat he boght a disco cos he thought it would keep wifey happy, loved it to bits but it cost him a fortune in repairs, sold it and bought himself a 2.5 petrol 90 nothing but happy times AND his wife loves it!!!.. so don't despair...........you could always sell it and come back!!!!!!...........keith

Funny you should mention that I've just had a look in LRE magazine and there is one the same age/style as mine for sale but with 1 months MOT (mine had 12 months) and he's asking a grand more than I paid for mine. fast Profit? sell 110 combbine funds and buy decent 90/110

id be thinking about also selling the mondao , mondeo , see i cant even spell it.

That went to the scrapyard yesterday. which is why I needed another vehicle.

But I won't hear a bad word said about her I brought her March 2002 for £2000, did 80,000 miles in her and apart from tyres, brake pads etc never spent a penny on her. In fact I'm ashamed to admit I never gave her a service or changed the filters once while I had her. and never once did she breakdown or fail to start in a morning She was my works van all the time i had her and I'm a self employed builder/plumber. so she carried a lot of weight cement/plaster brick etc. best Car I've ever owned. oh and she did 45/50mpg
