Fixed Tow Bar UK Style

I installed a second hand tow bar i got of a salvaged car. The kit was all there apart for a relay. What are the relay's specs, does anybody know? Cause i have to replace one that is already there, does it make a difference?
 
Just looked at mine, with the heavy duty flasher relay the trailer light on the dash will work. The one fitted to mine is a "HELLA 4DM003 360-001" the rating is "2 + 1(6) x 21W + 0...5W 12V" and has 4 pins insted of 3. (if that means anything to you !).
