I was at this computer, checking on Mud-Club and then there's a loud bang outside. I thought nothing of this, as if it was a bin falling over or something.
But then the wife of the ex-Police Office across the road we know of, came over and informed us that a group of lads were pointing and eyeing several cars as they made their way up the street. Then they pointed at my Land Rover, and then went onto the driveway.
One of the cars from the street pulled up the street, and at this time the lads put their hoodies over and the driver of the car didn't notice it. (because the driveway has poor lighting without the outside house lights on)
They went around the Land Rover, and possibly tried to get into it. Soon afterwards there was a loud bang and they ran off, apparently. That loud bang was the noise I had heard while on this computer.
After having looked around, I found the roof that was off my Land Rover and was temporarily stored in front of the caravan at the side of the house, was now wedged into the front of the caravan and there was a big kick mark across the roof.
Why do these fools do these things? Regardless of the law, if I did catch any of them going for anything of mine again they would certainly enjoy a good beating. :shake:
Unfortunately now I will have to be very careful about the Land Rover, as they know of it and they're highly likely to be locals. I've had a lot of trouble in previous years with some local-ish people who I have recently seen around the area again.
Any suggestions on what to do? I keep the rotor arm out of the engine's distributor so they can't easily get away with it. But they're more likely to do what they can to damage it, as proven by kicking my Land Rover's roof into the caravan.
