Freelander Interiors

C'mon someone must have done this. I'd like to upgrade the interior as well because my 2005 Xei has the rather coarse black cloth seats which aren't wearing very well and mark quite easily.

What model is an "Adventurer"? Never heard of it.

There should be few problems swapping interiors, as the floor pan is the same across the whole range. The only problem I can foresee is the door cards, which might have different clips, but they shouldn't be difficult to get hold of.

Agree about the black material, it does seem to mark easily, but then i could stick the seat covers on, I suppose. They do clean up fairly well, though.

I picked up an interior this afternoon from a dealer in Cannock, he threw the door cards and the rest of the interior panels as well. On first inspection they all look the same as mine, albeit the seats came from a 2004 model and the panels came from a 98. He did say i would have to change the electrical connection on the seatbelt pretensioner, but that would be all......Cost £175 and he has a mate who wants my Black fabric one for £50...can't be bad

The adventurer is a late mark 1 which i think LR made as a cheaper spec to get rid of the Mk1 parts before Mk2...Therefore the leather seats, and also bought glass targa panels to change my plastic ones.

Changed ours from cloth to leather easy job, just need correct star drive socket:D
Allan I hated the cloth seats mark and fray too easily.
