Electric Starter with Key no less..i hear you say woooooooooo..

She runs sweets just one problem when you turn the Key she somtimes intermitant starts..IE give her a rock and she fires up..

Could it be Starter sticking or wire off????

put some pictures up on one wire off somthing..it comes from three wires from the starter key and looks as if goes to starter yellow wire..
I will have to strip the casing off to get to it as the other wires to the starter are hidden down below inside casing??

Or could it be an earth?

anyway pleased to get it started..:)

looks a little small and micky mouse to me. we used to hire out a lovely road tow unit, ran of an 11 hp petrol motor and ate anything you could throw at it upto about 8" used to feed it all sorts of things when testing it.

From the pictures it looks like a 'Global Shredder'. They are in fact very good, they have more of a grinding action than a chipping action if I remember rightly, they were very expensive new. I think they have changable grates depending on the material you are shredding.

Thanks mate...

Jim i was suprised it ate "3 which suits my needs at the mo...Conifer Tops and the like..

It will do till funds allow..Dont know if i need one exactley as by the Time you have took the tops out of Conifers etc and limbed them down..its the Branches off the Conifer Tops that take up the room on your Truck IE Mass etc and Heigth on the back of the Tipper just thought it might Aid that apsect..and also reduce Tipp Runs???

Then all you are left with chunky wise of the Conifer Top stems you cut down..They can be used on my Wood Burner..not the best Wood for Burning but it eases the use of The Hard Woods i am Drying out etc..

Jim how did you know about this Chipper..Ya bang on 13Hp

This is a chipper ;)

Made by entec, runs on a 3cyl kubota deisel. It'll be 6 inches without a prob, the place where my dad hires them does have bigger greenmech which will do 8". But they sold there huge wessex which would take 10 inches and not flinch

Always good fun when playing with them.

I used to dabble a bit with garden machinery, mostly mowers but have had a couple of the Global shredders. I used to buy stuff at auctions from free-ads etc, re-con them and sell them on. Every time I got one of the Global shredders I intended to keep it for myself, but they always fetched very good money as they are or were quite sought after. I think 10-12 years ago they were over £1500 new for the small one.

I think they are unique in the shredding/grinding action rather than chipping, quieter too. Has yours got the interchangable grates?

found this picy of the motor:

Interchangable grates???

All the teeth on the main shredder IE the Top feed bolt on by the looks..also it has a Funnel on the side is this for larger stuff??

still learning about em sorry

Tim can`t get that in the kitchen to do the mince for the chille:D

Alex

If you can chip the branches Tim...why not use it for groundcover mulch? Save even more on tip runs then, eh? Could even make money on it... MMmmm profit...3rd rule of aquisition......Latinum bars...mmm

Ha arhhhh

Right found the maker this is the web site...www.globeorganic.co.uk

he has a brand new one listed on ebay item : 190070148272 £2800 new..
for 13 Hp like mine and chips up to 4" plenty for me and what use i have in mind..looks like i got a bargin

Jim have a look..

I knew I was close! I thought it was Global Recycling or something similar, it was a long time ago when I had any dealings with them

If you look on their website, the few I had were the Garden Master models, you can see the grates I was talking about. They had hammers rather than blades, you could crush nearly anything in them, shells, soil, roots, bones:eek:

Worth keeping then I should think.

Cannot belive i found it..just browsing ebay and one poped up..

and they still make them in the same colours..ok for spares now as well..

didnt think they were that much brand new..seen thise Tumblers you were talking about Jim

Jim it says on the site that the two chipper blades can be easly removed i take it thats the small trumpet feeder one as you say the other large feeder is teeth..sperate teeth so to speak

nice. you laugh about man chipping wife. one of those entecs would happily drag you through it. As the hydraulic feed rollers only slow and do a little bit at a time should the flywheel slow down enough due to what it s chipping.

From what i have been told by the chap my dad hires the chippers from. it'll quiet happily pull a person in.

Timberdog the price of a new entec / timberwolf chipper is? well looking here http://www.georgecarrpowerproducts.co.uk/Timberwolf.htm 13K is how much.

FYI entec is now named timberwolf.

Errr chop suey eh....

No serious note that little thing of mine is agressive and i always use the Plastic feeder unit to push the stuff in..not worth it otherwise :eek:

The one you talk about dont think is too bad price wise if you know the usage will be thier but at the mo not for my usage and the little chap wil do for now ;)
