This is the one problem halogens have and one thing sealdbeams have over halogens!

Take them out dry them out with paper towels and put them back.

Once the black finishing panel is off there is a screw at 4 o'clock around the bezel that you need to take out, then the lamp will fall out. The other 2 screws that the bezel slots in to are what you turn when aligning the beam angle. Leave them alone and when you slot the lamps back in your alignment will be the same as before!!!

cheers geo, will give it a shot over the weekend, tnx loads :)

If you have the halogens with the little side light bulb then that is where the water is coming in. Wrap some amalgamating tape (rubber tape) around the bulb holder to make a better seal with the rubber grommit in the headlamp bowl.

Have fun matey!

wicked, so basically i need to blank out the side light holder (as i aint usin it) with the rubber tape thingy? do i need to put on the main bulb too?

Well if you aren't using the side light bulb mate i would plug the hole with a suitable blanking grommit or maybe even gaffa tape the hole up!

gaffa tape it'll be...

dunno from where to get the grommets and nothin like good old tape :D

on dim my normal lights go on dim, thats why i couldn't be bothered fittin them in
