Help - A.T.A air powered engraving pen.

Wondered if any of the "engineers" (or indeed anyone) had any information on a company called A.T.A. who deal/make (or did), air powered tools, as i've recently aquired an "A.T.A Engravapen"?.

I've seen several references to their air tools but can find no info on the company itself, i'm really trying to find out if spares are readily available, more specifically the "nibs". Any help, pointers in the right direction gratefully received.

Cool, can't find the engravapen on there though :(. However the nice lady i've just spoken to at the company tells me a new one will set me back £227  Maybe i should relist it in it's proper category this time and see if i can get more than the £11.50 i paid for it :D

perhaps you should ask a professional engraver for advice on it.
you never know , they might even buy it from you as it sounds like a fairly pro bit of kit..

It won't be going for sale any time soon Nobber, i bought it to use, although not for engraving i might add and yes, it definately is a pro bit of kit.

What are you going to use it for if not for engraving?
I gather it vibrates alot... bit like a baby dremel only different.

Unlike a Dremel which rotates, this works like an air compressed "jack hammer" (only in miniature), which is exactly how i intend using it. I will be using it for helping to chip away rock and other deposits from around fossils whilst cleaning and preparing them for display.

The "Engavapen" and the quick connector, a type of which i've not come across before.
