wow! the power of the internet, as posted recently i've just bought a freelander after my defender has been put up for sale,it's a braemar special edition and imagine my suprise when upon googleing freelander braemar i find a picture of my own car taken by a previous owner (d onions) came up in scotland!!

yeah,it actually says it is in the scottish highlands where it was taken...if you google freelander braemar it's about half way down the page - takes you to a link of a (now defunct?) landrover freelander owners club site....and its on the pictures page about half way down....i tried e-mailing them to see if they could trace the member so i could contact him to talk about the trip and the car itself but the mail has been returned..

The site has now shut. The owner Aaron, is a Swede in the US. Sorry, I do not have his email addess.
 
i know what you mean about being spooky mate....when i was at school in 2003 i used to walk past this red 3 door freelander everyday on my way to school and wish that I had one just like it...

in 2006 my dealership goes to find me my own freelander, and low and behold, the car they find is the one I have walked past on the way to school every day!
