Hi All,
Hope you are able to help.. I have a H reg Disco V8 3.5i if i remember rightly..
petrol. She's in need of some welding (not sure how much as haven't had a quote), but it's all underneath.. and looks really good for her age. I treated all rust visable when i got her, and she looks great in photo's etc. Starts first time etc, oil level stays good, as does coolant etc. 7 seater, 6 months mot, and tax till end of month.. will lay her up on the farm once i get a new motor.
I was wondering.. how much and if it was worth me selling her on.. whether to do this privately or on eBay, and if so how much to start eBay for etc..
I'm sorry if this is a pain, i know it's a stab in the dark, but I need something bigger.. I'd love a defender but hubby is too soft! lol he want's a toyota previa or something similar - more of a 'car' type.
You may remember me from before, I'm a foster carer, so we are 6 people strong, 2 dogs, and now 2 ponies. we've increased by one of each since getting the disco.
I'll be really really sad to see her go, but am not able to do repairs ourselves and as said, need the extra space.
