How To Remove Door Panels Td5 1999

In Second Gear
PROBLEM : remote key will close the drivers door lock ( pull down the
popup gadget ) but will not push up the popup gadget.......
need to insert key to open lock manually.

TO INVESTIGATE : tried to get door panel off for a quick problem solving
exercise.

RESULT : joined this forum to get some idea about solving this
Landrover riddle !!!!

Never done a TD5 one but a few TDI ones, remove all obvious screws then using a flat bladed screwdriver with the shaft wrapped in tape to save marking the paint prise the panel away from the door itself along both sides and the bottom, pull panel away from the bottom then push upwards and its off, some of the clips will break they are cheap to replace.
