La fires

See they have a way to clear cars that were left unattended that caused roads to be blocked for emergency vehicles

Plus seems it’s heading towards the famous Hollywood hills sign and beyond

saw one video where some house have like a spinkler system on poles which sprays water on the roofs and sidings to try and stop there houses from catching fire

Then another video of the major not answering questions after cutting services to the fire department of 17 x million dollars
 
From what I can gather from various reports it all started from one house that caught fire and the embers spread to the neighbourhood, then strong winds spread it even further

Such shocking videos and can’t even begin to imagine the heartache watching ur home and all the memories burn to the ground

Yeah you'd think that wouldn't you. Just like the disastrous Fort McMurray and Jasper fires in Alberta where both local and federal governments drastically cut back on wildfire mitigation, control, and fuel reduction (ie: those 100m+ firebreaks) then blamed it on climate change. It's the same issue as is being talked about in the flooding thread: decreased funding of essential services leading to mass disaster.

So L.A. has no water to spray onto the $30,000,000 mansions because they're using it to grow broccoli in the desert and shifting the fire-fighting budget over to gender studies. Just say that one out load three times. It sounds ridiculous and we blame it all on politicians but let's be realistic: we voted those clowns in there. We asked for it and we got it. Welcome to modern social-media driven democracy.

It’s absolutely terrible and terrifying knowing you can’t do nothing about it ,just wait until it reaches you …
Heart goes out to those people that have lost everything.
 
It’s like what seriesG said ,budgets cut ,happens all over in different situations they have these horrendous fires ,uk flooding ,not just down to climate change ,poor planning ,building on flood plains ,up mountains ,building materials ,shocking

Feking Climate Change: When I get in late from work and get no dinner my OH puts that down to climate change .
Everything is Climate change .😡
