Hi LandyV8

An atmospheric picture it works well in bw. Looks like the lens was on wide angle. *istDL, now just how do you pronounce that?

It was taken with the standard 18mm-80mm lens. I cropped off some of the foreground in Photoshop to draw full attention to the subject. The camera is a Pentax *ist DL just pronounced using each letter. No idea what the star (*) is for. :D http://www.pentax.co.uk/_uk/photo/p...ruppe=digital slr&produkt=18436&id=uebersicht

Hello Lewis

I'd guess that it was taken at the 18mm end of the 'zoom' then. The data will have been saved and you can check it.

Why do they have to come up with such odd names?

I take it that you did the bw conversion in Photoshop?

Keith Hart

I should think so, as long as they are not the old screw type fittings. You could pop along to your local camera shop with one of you lenses and see if it fits.
