sadly no plugs on the back so i`ll have to get one from a motor shop
but i still dont now what wire is what any help would be grateful:)

I have not got a wiring diagram but I can tell you that it has the same rear Radio din plug as a BMW 3 / 4 series. The rear plug also has two plug apertures fitted to this to take a CD changer harness and plug. These you can buy from Land Rover but are expensive. So try searching the BMW sites and you will find a diagram. This Radio was introduced to the Defender / Disco range while BMW owned Land Rover and they used one of their 'proven' radios for the new mark. I can also tell you that you can not buy these plugs from Land Rover I know I have tried The only place you can get them is from scrap yards off a BMW or try a BMW main agent
I have inserted two BMW links that are the same fitment hope these help

No plugs? are you sure it has been "borrowed" from elsewhere?

If you get the proper plug from a dealer all the wires should be labled, the speaker wire is pretty easy to identify then you should just have have a live, earth & maybe a electric arial.

I think they're all pretty standard anyhoo, just the pin arangement may alter

Oh! forgot to mention that this radio must have a live feed conected at all times otherwise when you turn off the ignition all its memory is lost and unless you have the correct 4 didgit code for the radio then foget it.
