location of CB Arial

I want to take off my truck cab and put on a full canvas tilt. At the moment my CB arial is on a gutter mount attached to the rear of my cab, but I need to relocate it if I put on the tilt.

Anybody out there got any painless ideas on where the arial can go?

Mine is sat on the front bumper (larger bumper than standard). I've never used it (fitted by the previous owner), but apparently it worked fine down there. Personally, I'd mount it on the rear like this: http://www.4x4cb.com/imageviewer/psm1jeep.html if I was fitting it myself.

yep that's the mount i have, just on the back tub by the lights, then run the cable down insde the galvanized capping thingy...jobs a good un...ADA

Why not fit it to the gutter under the windscreen? Thats where I had mine till I moved it.

Works a treat , and protects it from damage when out laning

Could use a mag mount on the rear x-member. If you don't want a permenant fixing
