In Third Gear
Well as a member of our local landrover club we dont no what to do.Shall we go to billing or to the new show. Do they not no that having a show on
the same weekend they are going to upset a lot of people and end up with
two crap shows .WHAT DO YOU THINK Paul Doncaster Deffenders:rolleyes:
 
If you do a search of the forum on "Billing" or "Kelmarsh" then you'll see that it's all been said and there's another thread running in here on this subject right now. ;)

It seems to depend on which forum you read as to where everyone is going. Some, like me, have had a gut full of Billing as a venue and are happy to move on. Others hate LRe or want to stick with Billing as a venue and hope the faults it's had in the past will be addressed this year (which I would expect if less people turn up because of the two shows running at the same time).

Maybe, as you're looking from a club point of view, it would be better for you to go to one of the other shows this year and see how Billing & Kelmarsh pan out. :confused:
 
Hi Budgie thanks for the reply i have found your thread .Looks like a lot of
people can't make their minds up .One problem we have we like to go for the week and i dont think you can do that at kelmarsh so i think its Billing
for us. But a trip over to kelmarsh for the day just to compare notes and
if both shows are no good next year we will just do Driffield Peterborough Manby and Gaydon
 
"The Show at Kelmarsh is cancelled. It would appear that the majority of trade stands who have booked for a July show have chosen to go to Billing and we can't run a show with only a 1/3 of stands that we normally get.

Refunds for those who have already booked for the camping or trade will be processed shortly.
