General Lt22 or R380 into a 2a?

Hello everyone, I’m new here 😀 and am hoping for some advice please.
I’m thinking of putting a Defender 200TDI with a Lt22 gearbox into my 2a 88. Is this possible without forking out huge amounts?
Also, the R380 is that a better option? Thanks

Hi all pal of mine recently bought a series 3 no engine he has a 300 tdi from a discovery 1 what gearbox options does he have as the splines are different can he just change the flywheel or does he need a box I have 300 and 200 boxes both are r380s I think any thoughts ???
