"During descent(only), on downslope roads 3rd gear is jumping out."
Some help, please!

I have allredy overhauled everything on my Landy, except the gearbox! What else is waiting for me? Who knows!:(

Could be a symptom of weak detent springs, which can be found under the brass nuts on the casing of the box. I dont have a picture of them at the moment, but somebody will. Some are under rightangled brackets which hold them in place.

You could also have worn selector forks, on the top of the gearbox, the part which physiaclly engages the movement from the gear lever to the gear, or even worn gears and synchro hubs.

Try the detent springs first, a cheaper option.
