Modular and 8 spoke steel wheel suppliers ??

I'm after a set of 4 steel wheels to fit to my 110. I'd like either modular or 8 spoke steel wheels. I have seen them on Paddocks site for around £30 ea. Does anyone know of a cheaper supplier? I'm sure I saw some white 8 spokes for about £17ea when I was looking for some wheels 2 or 3 years ago, but I can think where that was.

Hi Lewis. I haven't seen 8 spokes or mods for less than 25 quid ea for many years mate! You might have seen a special offer price, of the sort buy 4 tyres and get the rims for 17 quid ea!!

Will keep an eye out tho.

By chance do you know of anyone who works in a tyre place that would get them for you at trade price? Just checking with my garage now for you.
 
Trade price is well over £30, unless you are buying hundreds where you might get a bit of discount but not much.

I think a lot of these deals must sell the wheels at or under cost price as they are making good money from the tyres.

Nope sorry mate just checked with them and they can't get them for less than 30 quid each now! soz.

Ah yes of course. Had an email off Neil today saying your 110 has thrown a valve and is currently sitting in a garage near Chirk! poor ******! :(

plus the new engine had only done 500 miles. GRRRR should be done this week. i will only be running on petrol from now on as LPG has been a little problomatic. so i have a set of road tyres lined up that i intend to fit. anything to bring down the running costs :p

Aye and what about the roof rack and winch??? ;)
 
winch had gone already. hmmm roof rack. well i quite like the look of the rack when its on, plus i dont use the car that much but when i do i usualy have some use for the rack so i think that will have to stay. its a pain in the @ss to take off and fit when needed.
 
I've sets of wheels here for sale but ,getting them to go may cost too much!

I got a set of 4 black 8-spokes and tyres from tyresdirect for £355.
Excellent service and a price I couldn't beat - and I searched around a lot!
