NATO hitch spreader plates

The ones that fit behind he crossmember? (so that when you crank the bolts up, the nuts don't pull through the crossmember?)

From T.H.Whites they're about £20 i think, for a piece of 10mm flat plate with 4 holes drilled in it.

Pop into Ashcroft & allen in Swindon (just off of Drakes way) and get a piece of 10mm from their scrap bin, will cost you a couple of quid for their coffee tin.

Drill some 12mm holes though it, get an angle grinder and slice it to shape (ashcrofts will even chop it to size if you ask them nicely)

I've got one here, i can measure the dimensions if you need?

Thats the one, i also want one for the front of the crossmember. I am following this guide on LR4x4.

My dad has just done an order on screwfix so i got him to order a drill bit and some cutting discs so i'll do it my self, there is a place locally that i can get the steel from.

Ahh, a reinforcing kind of plate for a Td5 crossmember? I made one of those up for my 110.
