new door locks.

got some locks/handles for my series doors and yup , like all things land rover they dont fit.
they are anti burst handles with key locks and i need a hole in the door to accomodate the lock barrel (apparently they dont make series doors with this hole in) so my question is , how do i drill a hole in my door?

Like you said to me the other day.....buy a hole saw...B&Qdo them and you usually get a selection of sizes on the same attachment. like this clickylinky

I think with a hole saw you can't enlarge an existing hole, but if there is no hole then Ken's idea is the best, if there is a hole use one of them step drill things

you can also use it for drilling that big auld hole for the snorkle as well

had a look in b&q , which incidental means 'we don't have what you are looking for, will this totally unrelated item do'? but W&DHWYALFWTTUID was a bit of a mouthful so they shortened it, and they have howl sarrs but i need to buy the saw , an attachment to connect it to a drill and a small coal effect fire , also a small basket of various diy items that i will never use but looked brill on the shelf , like 5 paintbrushes for 99p.
