New Freelander 2 TD4

By all accounts the new one is getting rave reviews.

Can anyone settle this for me.
Is the new TD4 2.2 from the new L/R Puegot/Ford stable partnership or an original Ford 2.2 Mondeo / fake Jag engine carryover ?

if it's anything like as good as the HDI in my 407 then it's getting the reviews it deserves- can't fault it.

I can for the life of my remember where the engine is from unfortunatly. But i know they drive very well, i'll probably never get one off road but handling is very good, and comfotable. and a lot quiter then the FL1
