Yesterday morning got up, out to the freebie, 2 flat tyres at the back!!!
strange I thought, had to ring the AA to come with a compressor (mines gone walkabout) turns out both tyres have been slashed,(these were new Pirrelli scorpions) AA recovered freebie to LR dealer I am now £282-00 lighter, is this just jealousy or is there something more sinister going on, has anyone else had similar problems? I live in Chester,:(

Last year there was a bunch of morons in Brussels that operated in a slightly different way, they screwed off the cap of the valves and put some small stones in it, then they screwed the caps on again which made the stones being pushed against the middle needle in the valve and flattening the tires. They were giving such a treatment to all SUV's they found parked in the streets. After a couple of weeks and an appearance in some newspapers it stopped, got they tired of loosing their nightsleep, got they caught ? Don't know.

The same happened to me in London Will. Took a long time to find a garage that had a working compressor too. I now take my Vi Air around with me all the time.

I was living down ina posh little area of berkshire once. Ha d abrand new MG, the first night it was parked up I had 3 nails put in each of the rear tyres (perfect line, so they could have propped them against the tyre till i pulled away. Almost crashe don the first bend :(

This happened to me and the guys I was living with a few times.. Don't think they liked that we had come down from wales and elsewhere to work in their area! Thank fully they were all fleet motors so we were inconvinienced (sp?) but not out of pocket.
