Off Road and green lane preperation?

In Second Gear
Hey there everyone looking for some advice really. I've always wanted a landrover and having recently bought myself a 90 station wagon, replacing my trusty suzuki SJ413. I'm keen to get into some off roading and green laneing. What preperations are nesseasry? i.e. guards, lift's, snorkels etc and whatd products are the best.

Many thanks

James :)
Take a lot of novices on greenlanes thoughout the year.

Often find there vechicles are well prepared but themselves not, think about suitable clothing and footwear for the season, plenty of food , water and fuel.

Consider the worse even whole groups can get stuck if one vechicle gets into real problems. In winter it gets dark early, torches with batteries Hi-Vist vests.

I even take sleeping bags/thick blankets it gets cold if your waiting around
