OK Whats This?

Hi,

Any ideas what this is, Its on a 1985 90 2.5cc Petrol. It is connect from the fuel feed in the eingine bay and then loops around to feed the carb.

There is a faded sticker on it that says Power....somthing & below it says Fuel Feed ------>. When you move it there a ball bearings inside that roll up and down the tube.

Problem is, the bearings rattle like made and turn heads when you pass, sounds like a pulley is about to drop off.

Is this something that someone has put on to try and increase the power? I have search all the books and cannot see it anywhere.

it looks like one of those "power pellet" gizmo's that are supposed to ionise/enrich the fuel...........keith
