The matrix O rings are leaking, guess who lost the toss...:scared:

"well, you know all about them"....:) says the Boss

" But the others need the practice" says I.. ( didn't work.):(

Then a Jaguar heater valve job came in, they are just as bad..... which was nice :)

Apart from coolant running down your sleeves its not too bad ....... Till the head of the clamp screw strips. Then, well, I tend to lose interest and think about going home !
Never mind - I'm going on Holiday next week !!!!

Was a bit of a tense moment when the screw wouldn't move.

Managed to do the O rings before the other TWO did the Jag... Glad I got the easy job.

Hi Templar

Commiserations

I've just changed the evaporator and heater matrix in my P38, what a B**** of a job. Just got away without taking the steering column out by splitting the heater box in situ. What a game for you for pennies worth of 'o' rings.

It's quicker to get an engine out.!!
( quickest yet 55 minutes running 2.8 isuzu in a classic to on the floor, and not with a gas axe to go back in ).

Cheers
Wingnut

Thing that makes it worse is, it's under our Warranty...:(

He's only had it a couple of months. But, it's our obligation, so sleeves up and get in there, it's no good crying about it.:)
