Quick Question On Advertising and an apoligy

LandRoverCentre

Shifting Up
hi all ive recieved a pm and aparently ive upset a few people on here which was the last thing i wanted to do so id like to take this oppertunity to say sorry.

ok as some of you are aware i buy and sell land rovers am i allowed to do this (i will not be using this site just to advertise) and also is there anywhere where i can post a topic regarding recovry and transportation as we also do this service and it goes without saying all you land rover nutters will recieve a very nice discount.

Re: Quick Question On Advertising and an apology

I would advise speaking directly to Admin Big Sandy/ Bernie Hayden or Lighting90
who will give you advice /permission.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

I'll 'fess up and admit that I was one of those who brought one of your earliest posts to the attention of the mods - it was advertising some vehicles and your login name made me think you were from the Land Rover Centre in Huddersfield, and thus commercially advertising against forum rules. Sorry for the misinterpretation.

I'm just down the road from Biggleswade - where exactly are you?

i operate mainly on ebay for the buying and selling im nown as the the land rover center on there and i have a piece of ground in caldecote where i store my vehicle repair them and strip them and no im not really a commercial dealer i just deal with the rangies small time as im trying to get a buisness set up in this and as ive said recovery and transportation

I think Snagger's raised an important point here. Although log-in names aren't legally binding as such (I'm not really a Cannonball before anyone asks) taking the name of an established Landrover dealer is pretty thin ice I reckon, especially on the well-known on-line auction site.

I think Mr Bob has a very good point,

I for one never thought of you as a cannonball, talks balls yes - but cannonballs no:D

So....there we were, me and a mate in the "other" car, taking part in Cannonball Run Europe*
Few weeks later I was being referred to in conversation (being talked about behind my back!:( ) and someone was heard to say:
"You know......Bob.....not Bob X, not Bob Y.......the other one......Cannonball Bob"

*It was nothing special. We had a hoot but in general found it was just abunch of braying upper class ******s in their dad's Ferrari, seeing who had the highest limit on their credit cards

Ooh and I thought it was because you had b*lls of iron:D :D

In fact, just had a look over your e-bay shop. I'd strongly recommend that you re-word things or at least get rid of the photo of the four RRCs with the caption "The Land Rover Centre" before these people see it:

(this is NOT a threat, just some genuinely free advice before anyone gets uppity)
