In Second Gear
Dose anyone know if I can get new/good 2nd hand doors (with 1/4 light) for a 1981 4 door rangie.
OR
Can the newer type of classic doors (disco 1) be fitted instead?

the old doors have triangle hinges, the new ones are straight.

The quarterlights disappeared when the 1985 year model was introduced. My parts book, which covers up to Oct 85, only lists one type of hinge for both types of door ie. part no 390415, so I'm assuming that this hing was probably used up to when concealed hinges came in.

If thats correct, then as long as you get exposed hinge doors, the hinges should mate up no problem. (But please check before you buy some).
