Seen this week in Southern Turkey!

There he was, a little hot in his black coat at 28 degrees C, but still a Defender under the skin!

I wonder why he fitted that low bumper at the back? Gone ruin his departure angle...
Is he tall enough to require something by law I wonder?

Hi Mucker, apposite observations! There is no law that I can find requiring such thing; Lancelot rides high and plenty of big trucks here have nothing - it adds to the passenger horror as you careen downhill and encounter a fast-moving forty tonner around the bend. Lots of these guys never go "of-road" at all. When we have got away from the tarmac the most we have encountered is a Ford Ranger and a whole host of the ubiquitous Renault 12s!
