Nice neat job. Well done.

All you need to do now is make them waterproof :D :D

Depends what you mean by waterproof? I have been driving through small river beds etc, and there was no water ingress. I also tested with the hose pipe blasting at it, and again no water got in. But no really deep wading yet.

There is a thick rubber seal around the opening and the door closes very tight.

my god u must live in a posh area. persian carpeted drive!

Seriously, they look nice. Who did you get them from & how much?
Also, could you give me rough dimensions. I was wondering if they would fit behind the rear wheel arches on my CSW.

Look good mate! I was after some of those doors when i needed to redoo mine.. Just cheated in the end with some Chequer plate heh!

I'm pleased to hear that. I've heard bad reports about the Wolf ones leaking.

Yep I noticed the posh carpet as well.

Hoss. No they won't  I made a set for my station wagon from the dimensions of a 110 sw. I managed to get the actual lockers from an old MOD tub.
Have a look at http://www.landroveraddict.com/smf/index.php?topic=340175.0

I'm at present looking for the drawings.:D

You mean those with doors inside? mmm i would have to modify my wood bases over the wheel arch, but its interesting. more secure + keeps mud from going into rear lights & crossmember.

I'd be interested in your drawings.

Dont have the external measurements to hand, but these are the internal dimensions ......will give you an idea anyway, if you still need the overall external measurements just let me know.

480mm wide
350mm high
330mm deep

I got them from APB Trading, not cheap......got a deal on 2 of them at £145 each.

From the photo it looks like the hole top is cut flush with the wheelbox. Do the top row of rivets end up inside the cabin above the wheelbox? The flange doesn't look deep enough to bridge the 2 U channels bracing the wheelbox. Were they removed also?

The top of the box is flush with the bottom of the 2 U channels. It is a very tight fit and the opening has to be measured very carefully. The U channels were not removed and the rivets do not go in to the cabin.

mmmmmmmmmm were can i get the dimensions from as i fancy making some but dont want to shell out the big £££££££££££ for them.

Can anyone tell me if a plastic water jerry would fit in the box???

metal jerry - 470x350x1700
water jerry - 460x340x190

They will , but you may need to slightly reduce the thickness of the accompanying metal fuel can by standing on its side, as the water cans are about 1" thicker. I was able to fit two steel cans in my earlier 110 lockers by doing this (too tight normally), and a plastic water can and single fuel can in the other locker by knocking the side of the fuel can so that its bevelled was concave instead of convex. These new lockers are wider (hence the bevelled doors), so will fit two un-crushed steel cans and perhaps and uncrushed steel can with a water can. I doubt they'd take two water cans, though.
